In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes reverberate through the darkness." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "strange trials and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
